It was able to maneuver the legs of a chair, tiny spaces and even the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. It was slower on flooring that was not fully covered, but it recovered speed and performed better than other robots that we evaluated.
The IQ is a better option over the iRobot Roomba 694 for most applications. It has a larger dustbin, lasts longer on a charge and is capable of getting over obstacles. It also has mopping attachments that can tackle sticky debris. The iRobot is, however, is better constructed and has less components that require maintenance or replacement, incurs less recurring costs, can create virtual no go zones using its companion app. It can even resume a cleaning session from the point it started if it is unable to recharge its battery prior to having completed the task.
